Games Handbook

Official rules, rewards, penalties, and procedures for Silken Vanguard, Silken Triad, Silken Duel, and Silken Pact.

1. Eligibility

Only registered Silk Sentinels members may participate in official Games.

  • Must have an active Silk Sentinels account.
  • Must be eligible under squad rules.
  • Must follow all Games regulations and official instructions.

2. House Representation

Every participating House represents its members in official Games.

  • Wardens and Deputies organize lineups.
  • They ensure attendance and schedule compliance.
  • They coordinate with the Games Team.

3. Who May Submit Lineups

Only authorized House and Games officers may submit official lineups.

  • House Warden
  • House Deputy
  • Authorized Games Administrator

Regular members may not submit official lineups.

4. Game Lineup Requirements

Game Required Lineup
Silken Vanguard 5 Main Players + 2 Substitutes
Silken Triad 3 Players, no substitutes
Silken Duel 2 Players per House, no substitutes
Silken Pact 3-House Alliance, 7 total players

Pact Distribution: House A = 3 Players, House B = 2 Players, House C = 2 Players.

5. Lineup Submission

Lineups must be submitted before the official deadline.

  • Late, incomplete, or invalid lineups may be rejected.
  • No new players may be added after submission closes.
  • No players may be removed after submission closes.
  • No changes may be made unless approved by the Squad Authority.

6. Lineup Submission Window

Each Game shall have an official Lineup Submission Window announced by the Games Team.

Standard Rule: Lineup submissions close 12 hours before the scheduled Game start time unless otherwise announced.

  • Example Game Schedule: Saturday, 8:00 PM
  • Lineup Submission Closes: Saturday, 8:00 AM

This gives the Games Team time to verify lineups, generate pairings, resolve issues, lock matchups, and publish official brackets.

Late submissions shall not be accepted unless approved by the Squad Authority.

7. Match Pairings

Match pairings are managed by the Games Team and become official once locked.

  • Rank Slot Pairing: Based on House Points.
  • Submission Order: Based on lineup submission order.
  • Random Draw: Pairings are randomly generated.
  • House-Aware Pairing: Used in Duel to avoid same-House matchups when possible.

8. No Submission Rule

A House may still occupy its assigned slot even if no lineup is submitted.

  • The matchup remains valid.
  • The House is marked as No Submission.
  • The opposing side may receive a default victory.
  • Applicable penalties shall apply.

9. Game Day Requirements

All participants are expected to be ready before the scheduled match time.

  • Be online before match time.
  • Monitor official announcements.
  • Be ready when called.
  • Join the lobby immediately when instructed.

10. Waiting Time

A maximum waiting period of 20 minutes shall be granted from the official match start time.

If the required players are not present after the waiting period, the player, team, alliance, or House may be declared in default.

11. Default Rule

A Default occurs when a player, team, alliance, or House fails to fulfill its participation obligations for a scheduled match.

  • Failure to appear within the waiting period.
  • Failure to submit a valid lineup.
  • Refusal to play a scheduled match.
  • Incomplete lineup after waiting time expires.
  • Failure to continue a Best-of-Series.
  • Withdrawal after match confirmation.

Loss: The match was played and lost.

Default: The match could not properly proceed due to failure to comply with Games requirements.

If a team defaults during a Best-of-Series, all remaining games shall be forfeited and the opposing side shall be declared the winner.

12. Between Games

For Best-of-Series matches:

  • Teams are given up to 10 minutes between games.
  • Approved substitutions may be made only when allowed.
  • Deliberate delays may result in penalties.

13. Match Results

  • Officials may request screenshots after every game.
  • Additional proof may be requested when needed.
  • Results become official only after verification.

14. Technical Issues

The following are generally not valid grounds for a rematch:

  • Internet disconnection
  • Device issues
  • Power interruptions
  • Wrong hero selection
  • Wrong battle spell
  • Accidental actions

Rematches may only be granted by the Squad Authority.

15. Spectators

Only authorized spectators may observe official Games.

  • Unauthorized spectators may be removed.
  • Spectator privileges may be revoked at any time.

16. Conduct and Sportsmanship

All participants must show respect to fellow members.

  • No toxicity or harassment.
  • No match fixing.
  • No intentional feeding.
  • No bug abuse.
  • No unsportsmanlike conduct.
  • No refusal to follow Games instructions.

Silken Vanguard

Rewards

  • Champion Players: Vanguard Badge
  • Champion Players: +300 SP each
  • Champion Leaders: +50 SP each
  • Champion House: +400 HP
  • Runner-Up House: +200 HP

Penalties

  • No-Show Player: -500 SP
  • Other Houses: -150 HP
  • Defaulting House: additional -500 HP
  • Defaulting Warden: -250 SC
  • Defaulting Deputy: -100 SC

Silken Pact

Rewards

  • Winning Coalition Players: Pact Badge
  • Winning Coalition Players: +200 SP each
  • Winning Houses: +300 HP each

Penalties

  • Losing Houses: -300 HP each
  • Defaulting House: -500 HP
  • Defaulting Warden: -150 SC
  • Defaulting Deputy: -100 SC

Silken Triad

Rewards

  • Champion Players: Triad Badge
  • Champion Players: +400 SP each
  • Champion Leaders: +100 SP each
  • Champion House: +500 HP
  • Runner-Up House: +200 HP

Penalties

  • No-Show Player: -1000 SP
  • Non-Finalist Leaders: -100 SP each
  • Other Houses: -200 HP
  • Defaulting House: additional -500 HP
  • Defaulting Warden: -250 SC
  • Defaulting Deputy: -100 SC

Silken Duel

Rewards

  • Champion: Duel Champion Badge
  • Champion: +500 SP
  • Champion: +500 SC
  • Winner's House: +1000 HP
  • Runner-Up House: +500 HP
  • Same-House Finalists: +1500 HP total

Penalties

  • Losing Players: -100 SC each
  • No-Show Player: -2000 SP
  • Other Houses: -500 HP
  • Defaulting House: additional -500 HP
  • Defaulting Warden: -250 SC
  • Defaulting Deputy: -100 SC
