Silk Sentinels Admission Policy (Updated)

The Silk Sentinels Admission Policy ensures that all incoming members are properly oriented, endorsed, and integrated into the squad community. This process is designed to maintain a respectful, competitive, and well-coordinated roster while providing a smooth and guided onboarding experience for new players.

I. Eligibility

Applicants must:

1. Meet Minimum Age Requirement
   • Must be at least 15 years old, or have guardian consent if younger.
2. Play Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) on a consistent basis.
3. Possess a Valid MLBB ID and In-Game Nickname (IGN)
   • The IGN must not contain vulgar, offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate words, symbols, or innuendos.
4. Display Good Standing
   • No history of toxic behavior, cheating, or misconduct in MLBB or in other squads.
5. Be properly briefed by the referring squad member about squad rules, culture, and expectations prior to admission.

II. Membership Categories

Junior Sentinel

• All newly admitted members will be classified as Junior Sentinels.
• This status applies to all members from the time of official admission into the squad.
• Junior Sentinels are fully integrated into squad activities, events, and House participation.

Senior Sentinel

• This is a manually approved membership classification granted by Squad Authority.
• Members may become eligible for Hourglass Honor after demonstrating long-term loyalty, consistent activity, and positive community contribution, typically after six (6) months or more in the squad.
• Upon approval, the member will be promoted to the Senior Sentinel role in the Discord server, along with an official Hourglass Honor badge as recognition of tenure and commitment.

III. Application Process

Step 1 – Referral & Initial Coordination

• All applicants must be referred by an existing Silk Sentinels player.
• The referrer is responsible for briefing the applicant about squad expectations, rules, and community culture.
• The referrer must inform the Membership Prefect – Viper (60) that a new player has been invited for admission.
• Upon acknowledgment, the applicant may be approved for entry into the Main Group Chat as part of the onboarding process.

Step 2 – Account Registration Form Submission

• The applicant must complete the official Silk Sentinels account registration via the squad website.
• The registration link will be provided by the Membership Prefect.

Step 3 – Provisional Admission

• The applicant must complete five (5) Ranked Games with a designated squad member serving as Trial Probation Officer.
• The Trial Probation Officer will be assigned by the Membership Prefect.
• These games aim to assess the applicant’s teamplay, attitude, activity level, communication, and overall compatibility with the squad environment.
• After completion of the required games, the Trial Probation Officer must submit an evaluation report to the Membership Prefect for review and recommendation.
• Completion of the five trial games and submission of the evaluation report are mandatory before the admission process may proceed to House placement endorsement.

Step 4 – House Placement Endorsement

• The Membership Prefect will inform the Squad Council about the new applicant.
• The Squad Council will determine the appropriate House assignment of the player.
• Final placement requires approval from either the Squad Marshal or the Squad Wizard.

Step 5 – Account Approval & Discord Access

• Once the player’s website account is approved and the MLBB UID tag is properly recorded, the Squad Authority will send the official Discord invitation link.
• Upon joining Discord, the player is considered an official Regular Sentinel and fully integrated into squad operations.

IV. Code of Conduct

All members, including applicants, are expected to:

• Show respect towards all squadmates and Houses.
• Avoid disruptive, toxic, or disrespectful behavior.
• Comply with squad rules, event guidelines, and House policies.
• Avoid match-throwing, cheating, or abusive gameplay.

V. Membership Benefits Upon Confirmation

Once fully admitted, members may:

• Earn Squad Points and Silk Coins.
• Participate in official tournaments and events.
• Access exclusive squad perks such as hotel staycation vouchers, skins, and seasonal rewards.
• Be eligible for House assignments and internal leadership roles.

VI. Termination of Application

The Membership Prefect or Squad Authority reserves the right to reject or terminate any application during admission process for:

• Inactivity or failure to participate in required activities.
• Misconduct or violation of the Code of Conduct.
• False information provided during application.
