The Silk Sentinels Admission Policy ensures that all incoming members align with our squad’s values, community standards, and competitive objectives. This policy serves to maintain a strong, respectful, and committed roster while fostering a welcoming environment for both casual and competitive players.
I. Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Meet Minimum Age Requirement
- Must be at least 15 years old, or have guardian consent if younger.
- Play Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) on a consistent basis.
- Possess a Valid MLBB ID and In-Game Nickname (IGN)
- The IGN must not contain vulgar, offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate words, symbols, or innuendos.
- Display Good Standing
- No history of toxic behavior, cheating, or misconduct in MLBB or in other squads.
II. Membership Categories
New members will be classified upon admission:
- Allied Silk Sentinel – Casual, non-competitive, affiliated members.
- Wandering Silk Sentinel – Active members without House affiliation.
- Ranked Silk Sentinel – Fully privileged members with House placement, event eligibility, and full squad benefits.
III. Application Process
Step 1 – Referral & Initial Approval
- All applicants must be referred by an existing squad member.
- The referrer must inform the Squad Marshal ahead of time.
- With the Squad Marshal’s approval, the applicant will be invited to the Main Group Chat in Messenger as the initial step towards admission.
Step 2 – Account Registration Form Submission
- Applicants must complete the official Silk Sentinels Account Registration Form via the squad website.
Step 3 – Pre-Screening by Squad Authority
- Review of game activity, rank, IGN appropriateness, and community behavior.
Step 4 – Interview or Trial Match (optional but encouraged)
- Conducted by the Squad Authority or a designated House Warden to assess compatibility and skill level.
Step 5 – Provisional Admission Period
- All new members serve a 7-day probationary period to assess engagement, sportsmanship, and activity in both matches and squad communications.
- Account approval remains pending during this period.
Step 6 – Final Endorsement
- Upon successful completion of probation, the member will be formally inducted and assigned their final membership type.
- Only after Final Endorsement is the account officially approved.
IV. Referral Rewards & Penalties
Rewards for Referrers
- If the referred member passes probation and remains active for at least 30 days after Final Endorsement, the referrer will receive:
- +200 Squad Points and +50 Silk Coins.
Penalties for Referrers
- If the referred member:
- Fails probation due to inactivity,
- Leaves the squad within 7 days of approval, or
- Is removed for misconduct,
then the referrer will receive a –100 Squad Points penalty.
- Repeated recruitment of problematic or inactive members may result in suspension of referral privileges.
V. Probationary Period Guidelines
- New members must:
- Participate in at least three (3) squad activities or matches within the probation period.
- Remain active in squad communications (Messenger/Discord).
- Uphold squad rules and community etiquette.
- Failure to meet probation requirements may result in:
- Extension of probation (max. additional 14 days), or
- Termination of membership application.
VI. Code of Conduct
All members, including applicants, are expected to:
- Show respect towards all squadmates and Houses.
- Avoid disruptive, toxic, or disrespectful behavior.
- Comply with squad rules, event guidelines, and House policies.
- Avoid match-throwing, cheating, or abusive gameplay.
VII. Path to House Placement
- House placement will only be granted once a member:
- Completes probation,
- Meets minimum activity requirements, and
- Gains endorsement from a House Warden.
VIII. Membership Benefits Upon Confirmation
Once fully admitted, members may:
- Earn Squad Points and Silk Coins.
- Participate in official tournaments and events.
- Access exclusive squad perks such as hotel staycation vouchers, skins, and seasonal rewards.
- Be eligible for House assignments and internal leadership roles.
IX. Termination of Application
The Squad Authority reserves the right to reject or terminate any application during probation for:
- Inactivity or failure to participate in required activities.
- Misconduct or violation of the Code of Conduct.
- False information provided during application.
