Match Format
  • Victory Condition:
    • If a player destroys the opponent’s base, they win the match.
  • Role Selection:
    • Both players must choose a role (e.g., Assassin, Tank, Marksman, etc.) before the match begins.
  • Role Assignment:
    • If both players choose the same role:
      • The matches will feature that role for both rounds.
    • If different roles are chosen:
      • The first round will use Player 1’s chosen role.
      • The second round will use Player 2’s chosen role.
    • In case of a tiebreaker (1-1 score):
      • The role for the final round will be randomly selected.
  • Hero Selection:
    • Players can only select heroes within the assigned role for each round.
    • Heroes outside the assigned role are not allowed.
  • Lane Rules:
    • Matches take place in the mid-lane only.
    • Restrictions:
      • Players cannot defend top or bottom lanes unless both turrets in that lane are destroyed.
      • Creeps can only be repealed when they reach the third turret in the mid-lane.
      • Players may not pursue creeps further into the top or bottom lanes.
  • Buffs:
    • Players are allowed to take buffs as part of their strategy.
    • Lord and turtle are not allowed.
  • Before the Match
    • Role Selection System:
      • Players will submit their role preferences during registration via tournament website.
      • Players will be randomly paired.
    • Random Role Selection (Tiebreaker):
      • For tiebreaker rounds, a randomizing tool (e.g., dice roll or random number generator) will determine the final role to ensure fairness.
  • During the Match
    • Match Setup:
      • Matches will use the Custom Draft Pick mode to ensure players select heroes within their assigned roles.
      • A designated match coordinator or spectator will monitor the hero selection process to guarantee compliance.
    • Mid-Lane Monitoring:
      • Spectators or match replays will verify adherence to lane-specific rules:
        • Players may only repel creeps at the third turret in the mid-lane.
        • Top and bottom lanes must remain undefended unless both turrets in those lanes have been destroyed.
  • After the Match:
    • Reporting Results:
      • Players must report match results through the Facebook via Official Group Chat.
      • Screenshots of the match summary are mandatory for result verification.
    • Dispute Resolutions:
      • A dedicated dispute panel comprising tournament organizers or moderators will review any reports of non-compliance or irregularities.
      • Match replays or player reports will serve as evidence during the resolution process.
  • Random Pairing
    • A random draw will be used for the first round, facilitated by a randomizing tool, to eliminate potential biases in pairing.
  • Progression After Initial Pairing
    • Winners advance to the next round, while the eliminated players are removed from the bracket.
    • Subsequent matches will pair winners of each round until the final match determines the ultimate champion.
    • If the number of participants is not a power of 2 (e.g., 8, 16), some players may receive a bye in the first round. Byes can be assigned randomly or to the top-seeded players
