Code of Vanguard: Official Rules & Mechanics
These are the official rules governing all Silken Vanguard matches. All participants are expected to understand and follow these guidelines strictly. Failure to comply may result in penalties.
Tournament Format & Frequency
- Silken Vanguard will be announced one day before the match day.
- Matches are held on a weekly basis, with occasional exemptions granted at the discretion of the Squad Authority.
- Each of the four Houses must assign five players to represent them for each Vanguard session.
- Teams will be seeded based on current House Rankings to determine bracket placement.
- Matches follow a single elimination bracket.
- All matches are played in Best of 3 format.
- Once all players in the lobby have set their status to “Ready”, this is considered an official signal of match readiness.
- Any issues or substitution requests must be raised before clicking Ready.
- The initial waiting period before declaring a default is 20 minutes from the scheduled match time.
- The waiting period may be extended up to 30 minutes at the discretion of the Squad Authority depending on valid communication or special circumstances.
- Beyond the allowed waiting time, the absent team or player may be disqualified, and penalties will apply as defined in the tournament rules.
Additional Ban Mechanics
- Each team is entitled to two (2) additional hero bans, outside the in-game draft system.
- These bans are manual and must be respected as if they were part of the official draft.
- The House Warden or their designated substitute must inform their team’s in-lobby captain of the additional bans before the lobby is launched.
- The in-lobby captain is responsible for ensuring the team does not pick any of the manually banned heroes.
- Manual bans must also be announced clearly to the opposing team and the match host through the official communication channel (e.g., group chat or match thread).
- Picking a manually banned hero may result in an automatic loss for that round, forced rematch, or disqualification, depending on intent and impact.
- Ignoring or failing to relay bans will reflect on both the House Warden and in-lobby captain, and may result in administrative penalties.
-
Match Rules
- Silken Vanguard matches are conducted using the standard Mobile Legends Draft Pick mode.
- There is no locked role selection; each team is free to set their player roles during the draft phase.
- Teams are responsible for coordinating their picks and compositions within the time limits of the in-game draft.
Substitution Rules
- Only two (2) substitutions are allowed per team during the entire tournament session.
- The declaration must be made within 1–2 minutes after the match concludes and before the next game begins.
- The Warden of the House must oversee substitutions.
Interference & Pause Rules
No Show Penalty
- Any house who fails to show up for their scheduled match will receive a 200 House Points penalty.
- The House Warden will also be penalized with 250 Silk Coins.
Rewards & House Points
- The winning players will receive each of Silken Vanguard Champion Badge.
- In the case of substitutions, the House Warden has full discretion to decide which player among the team will receive the badge.
- All Houses earn House Points in each match based on the total KDA (Kill/Death/Assist) score of their team.
Match History & House Points Submission
The House Warden must assign one participating player to capture a screenshot of their Match History immediately after each Silken Vanguard game.
- The screenshot must clearly show the KDA score and match result.
- These screenshots will serve as the official record for awarding House Points.
- Failure to submit a valid screenshot will result in no House Points being recorded for that match, regardless of outcome.
- Screenshots must be submitted to the designated Squad Authority channel or submission form promptly after each match to ensure that performance contributes to the House’s official ranking.
